Dear mother and father,
I wonder how you are doing in Britain. I am doing fine except for the fact that I am confined on an island where I have no idea where it is. Other students who are confined in the island with me think they will be rescued very soon but I doubt it. No one knows that we are in this island and I even doubt the point of writing this letter. I fear something bad will happen if we stay in this island longer because the students here are really stupid and are not organized at all. They tried to burn this whole place without even trying to figure out how we are going to supply food and shelter. Also the leader Ralph, I am relieved that he is the leader instead of the rampage and violent Jack but he is very not organized. Currently we lost one of our group members because Ralph didn’t keep track of the group. I think no one tries to listen to me but I’ve got to take charge and try to sort out the group but the group members (especially Jack) never gives me the conch and even if I have it, they never listen to me. They even took my glasses away trying to make fire. My patience is running out here mother and father. What should I do?
…. Anyways, I talked too much about myself. Are you doing alright in Britain? I hope you are doing alright.
Writing a purposeless letter,
From Piggy
